Hearing Instrument Specialist
Growing up I knew that I had a passion for helping people. During my studies at SUNY Cortland I had the opportunity to enter into the Speech and Hearing Science Program which reaffirmed my desire to help people and put me on the path to doing so. I received my Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science and am now a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist.
I have been with NewSound for a while now, what I love most about being in this profession is impacting people’s lives in a positive way. Through the patient focused testing I have had the opportunity to help improve the quality of life that comes from the gift of hearing. It is truly heartwarming when you see someone regain the sense of hearing and when you see the positive impact it has on their life.
I grew up in Gloversville NY and currently live in Amsterdam NY. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my fiancé Peter, my Golden Retriever Sophie, my family and my friends. We often spend our time on the water at Caroga Lake. I enjoy golfing, bowling, and being with friends and family. I continue to look forward to helping people make positive changes in their lives.
